Our Doors Remain Open

Our doors remain open for acupuncture in Maple Grove, MN.

Modern Point Acupuncture continues to place the safety and health of our patients at the forefront of our clinics.

If you have an appointment at Modern Point Acupuncture but are experiencing respiratory symptoms of any kind; such as nasal congestion, cough, or shortness of breath, PLEASE STAY HOME, for your health and for the health of others. (download CDC COVID-19 symptoms)

If you are sick and call to cancel or reschedule, we are waiving the Late Cancellation Fee for the next 30 days. However, if you do not show up for your appointment and do not call, you will still be charged our no-show fee for your missed appointment.

If you become symptomatic or diagnosed after you have recently been in either Modern Point Acupuncture clinic, please reach out to us and let us know. This allows us to make appropriate decisions for our clinics, our patients, and our own health.

Our acupuncturists want to take a moment to let you know what we are doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our clinics.

We take the cleanliness of our clinics seriously, always. The CDC’s best practices for avoiding the spread of this Coronavirus 19 or any other virus are the practices we use day in and day out. (Interesting fact: 4 coronaviruses are circulating each year, and this new one makes number 5.)

Our treatment tables and face cradles have always used fresh clean linens for every patient. Our table sheets are always professionally cleaned. Our face cradle linens have been and will remain washed with Clorox bleach and non-allergenic detergent.

We are updating a few of our own best practices at Modern Point Acupuncture to increase safety and health a step further for the foreseeable future:

  • We are removing the sheepskin plush linings from the face cradles
  • We are removing the sheepskin table warmers from the tables. *Please dress warmer if you run cold, and wear or bring a change of clothing that provides access to arms, legs, and abdomen. We will still be using Infra-red heat lamps, but they won’t keep you warm as the table warmers did.
  • We ask patients NOT to refill their own water bottles but to use the disposable cups provided. This helps to eliminate cross-contamination from a reusable water bottle and the fountain nozzle.
  • Temporary suspension of magazines in the lobby

It is PARAMOUNT that our entire community work together at this time to swiftly reduce contact and transmission of this virus. We are sure you have already educated yourselves on the ways you can prevent the spread of the virus, but if you wish to review the list, you can view one HERE.

We are staying updated with the most recent news and developments on the state of COVID-19 in Minnesota. We will be using this information to make future decisions about our clinics. We will be working hard to keep everyone informed and safe.

Thank you so much for your support and trust in our small business.

Please be cautious, mindful, and calm over the next few weeks.

Wash those hands! We will get through this together.
